Mumbo Island Camp

Stretching across the expansive waters of Lake Malawi National Park, with its vast underwater cliffs, myriad of colorful fish, and calm, clear waters, the one-mile-diameter tropical Mumbo Island floats in one of the world’s best freshwater snorkeling. Accommodating only 14 guests, the chalets and diving areas are eco-friendly tents with shaded viewing decks, hammocks, hot bucket showers and eco-toilets. There is no electricity, with the romantic ambiance accompanied by the gentle flickering of paraffin lamps and candlelight and complemented by the brilliance of the stars.

Liwonde-National-Park

Mvuu Lodge

With its secluded location on the shores of a Shire River lagoon on the western boundary of Liwonde National Park, the main building offers expansive views of the river and wildlife passing by. The property has eight luxurious tents, each with a private bathroom and a private viewing deck overlooking the lagoon. Lodge facilities include a dining room, bar, lounge area, library and pool.

Lower Zambezi National Park

The area is extremely popular for its impressive river and is one of the most diverse destinations on the African continent with a wide choice of accommodation and activities. Be it the herds of impressive elephants, various mammal species such as leopards, lions, hyenas or buffalo grazing peacefully on the banks of the river, over 378 recorded bird species and the diversity of Zambezi’s water fauna: the region captivates with incomparable safari moments. The multitude of large trees and sparse savanna grass makes this area ideal for unforgettable hiking safaris accompanied by armed rangers and trackers.

Mana Pools

Covering an area of 337,600 hectares of protected wildlife, Mana Pools National Park and the adjacent Sapi Concession are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and form the core of the Middle Zambezi Biosphere Reserve. It is one of the most beautiful parts of Africa, where an estimated 80% to 85% of both areas can only be crossed on foot, making them perfect for walking safaris.

As a safari of seven days and six nights, this combination of three separate camps, 20 km apart, entices with an African experience of the highest magnitude.
Each of the camps has only three accommodation units with six guests accompanied by the same highly qualified Zimbabwean ranger through the Sapi Reserve and Mana Pools.

Activities: In addition to game walks, canoeing and boating on the Zambezi River as well as day and night game drives are undertaken.
